Tomorrow!!!

Ok, so tomorrow is the big day. We find out the sex of the baby! Exciting! And yes we will be telling people the sex. People keep asking me if it matters if it is a boy or a girl and the answer is no. We would be happy with either a boy or a girl. The way I look at it is God doesn't give us a choice in the matter so why should I get an opinion. Only he knows what we need, although many have speculations. Another question we keep getting is are we going to tell a name this time. Well, to be quite honest we haven't even talked about names. Rush's name was a given. For those of you who have known me a long time you know that I always wanted to name a boy Rush so I did. I even did so despite my seminary friends saying I was naming my son after a Jewish holiday (Rosh Hoshanah). We had a girl name that we liked before we found out Mason was a boy so we altered it to be a boy name. We didn't even officially decide on the full name until days before he was born so what good did it do us to tell people. We have no names for either sex at this time and have chosen not to talk about it until we know what we need to talk about. We haven't talked about sharing the name before the birth or not, but I am pulling for not sharing. It was kind of fun watching people wonder. There were also some really good pictures taken in the waiting room on the hospital when Brian showed up at the glass window with Mason and a little card with his name on it. It would be even more fun if they didn't know if it was a boy or a girl. I would do it, but I am pretty sure somebody would let it slip. Besides I need to know if I need all new stuff or am good to go with some things I already have. I will say this, If it is a girl somebody is going to rack up on some boy stuff because I will be getting rid of things that we no longer need.

Busy, Busy, Busy!

We started summer Mother's Day Out this week and once again we are busy, busy, busy! We are all enjoying having a little bit of a routine. It is fun to hang out with our friends and just have fun at school. Rush has become Mrs. Jo's helper and Mason is always excited to ride the Bye Bye Buggy. I am teaching K5 and it is a nice change of pace. We are having a great time!

Since it is Father's Day weekend we have a little bit of shopping to do. I have been racking my brain trying to come up with perfect gifts. I have plans, but we will see how they go over! Rush and Mason made special things for Daddy and Rush could not wait until Sunday, he already gave his to Brian. Mason has already forgotten that he made something, but hopefully he will remember on Sunday.

The countdown has begun! We go back to the doctor a week from Monday to find out what we are having! I'm excited to see. It really doesn't matter to us what we have as long as we have a happy, healthy baby.

Where have I been?

If I have had one person ask me I have had one hundred people ask me where I have been. Well , I have been at home feeling pregnant. I am a horrible pregnant person! As of right now I am 16 1/2 weeks pregnant and so far nothing about it is enjoyable, as usual. I am still sick frequently, nothing new there. I am going to assume that sickness will continue until I get out of the Operating Room following my C Section. So, currently I am looking forward to June 29th which is when we will find out the sex and I will be more than halfway to the end! I really wish I was one of those people who got to enjoy being pregnant, but unfortunately that isn't the case. I can say on a positive note that I am starting to regain my energy.

The boys are doing well and enjoying summer. We are looking forward to summer school starting next week to help fill our time. We all need a little change of scenery sometimes. Summer school also helps with consistency in their schedule and discipline. I will be teaching five year olds which will be a nice change of pace for me. Rush is going to have his same teacher from the school year whom we love and Mason is going to have different teachers that I don't know yet. We are looking forward to playing with Mason's friend Cooper on Friday, play days never revolve around him. Last week Rush got to have a play day with his buddies Jack and Jett. I owe many thanks to Sherri, Jack's mom, because she offered to have Rush come and play while I drove my sister to Huntsville to pick up a chair for my mom. Talk about fun times!
